Safetyism

In Chapter Seven of And Then the End Will Come, we consider the prophecy in 1 Thessalonians 5:3, "While people are saying, 'Peace and safety,' destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape." We explain that our culture is increasingly obsessed with safety - an important clue that we are living in the last days.

Prager says, "As many observers have noted, staying safe has become a religion. 'Safetyism,' as it is sometimes called, like all religions, places what it values — in this case, being safe — above other values." Check it out.
